How far can I go without getting pregnant or an STD (sexually transmitted disease)?Not far...
- You can get an STD or STI just by "fooling around" or hooking up with someone.
- You can catch or spread some STDs by any skin-to-skin contact, including:
- genital to genital contact,
- mouth to genital contact and, even
- hand to genital contact.
- You may be talked into going further than you want to - possibly even finding yourself in an unwanted pregnancy situation.
- You have the right to say NO at any point with someone else. But it's easier to say NO when you've made up your mind on how far you'll go.
